My stay at the Pulse in the Marriott Mayflower Hotel is fabulous. I can't say enough about how Marriott takes care of it's owners. #MayflowerHotelDC #fridaynightart

The hotel is located blocks from the White House. It is two blocks from a subway stop, adjacent to a bus stop, and loaded with cabs waiting to wisk you to the sights of the city. Also near by, you will always find an uber or Lyft within 2-5 minutes for pick up.

The suites are basically an apartment with a huge bathroom, entryway, living area and bedroom. Both a door, and french doors separate the living from the bedroom so it is quiet for those who turn in early.

I've added some pictures for elite members of Marriott...The concierge lounge for gold and platinum members provide a buffet breakfast and light appetizers in the evening. Don't you love Marriott! In a city where you could easily spend a $100 a day eating out, Pulse has you covered with enough food to sustain those too tired from sightseeing to dress up for dinner.

This place is five stars!

Locating the Pulse in Washington DC on the 7th floor is Marriott's way (in my opinion) of taking care of it's owners. It's high floor moves it high above the noise of convention, weddings and street noise for a good nights sleep.
