Hurricanes and floods have flattened the Rio Grande Valley for centuries. But its rich soil prevails. Cotton, once king in the South, is still grown in the fields along with citrus and vegetables.
These titans of the land harbor the cotton, where the seed is separated from the bloom. Oil companies crush the seed to make cotton oil. Levis and Lee buy the cotton.
This 11x14 printed on watercolor paper is $450 signed and framed.
I have also put this on canvas, 20x30 to hang in the Lift Art Gallery at 801 NW 10th St. in Oklahoma City.
The canvas gallery wrap of this image is $1179.
