One of four portraits of the eroding sands of the Laguna Madre near South Padre Island by Jim Rode of Friday Night Art. As you can see in this image-turned-abstract, tides have moved loose sand into small dunes in the center of the sand bar. One good hurricane and this part of South Padre Island could be gone.
