Laguna Madre No. 4 - wall decor from JimRode of FridayNightArt
Laguna Madre No. 4
Where

The Art
This art is one of four 20x30 canvas studies of the eroding sands of South Padre Island in Texas. (All are also available as fine art prints.)
Like any barrier island, South Padre tries to hold its own against wind, tides and the rising sea. Add in an occasional hurricane, and time is against survival. The Laguna Madre at the mouth is the most endangered.
I love the greens and blues of the earth, water and sky. Add in the golden tones of sand and you have a beautiful image for your office wall. The delicate nature of this ink on canvas (or watercolor papers) give it a nearly abstract look.
Art Details
This 20x30 archival ink on canvas is available from artist Jim Rode at Friday Night Art. It is built on a hardwood frame with a poly-linen canvas for longevity.
