Patient Birds - a 20x30 Canvas by artist JimRode
Patient Birds by artist Jim Rode.
Where
Friday Night Art in Harlingen, Texas.
The Art
After a hearty breakfast of grain, seed and worms, a gaggle of birds hang out with the wind turbines ready to rock out the wires with gossip. All patiently await a missing few still fattening up.
The scene is a utility road that few people travel, leaving the birds and wildlife feeling safe save for coyotes and hawks.
Art Details
This is a 20x30 ink on canvas. It is attached to a hardwood frame with a wire hanger so it is ready to display on the wall. JimRode uses a hardwood frame for longevity. (Real canvas is attached to that!) Archival ink of course, and premium canvas is used by Jim. (Caution: Some commercial artists go cheap and print on art board, folding the board edges to make a thick edge and then glue the folds to form a wrap box. In a few years, that glue gives way.) Rest assured your canvas wrap will last a lifetime if not displayed in the direct sunlight.
