This shrimp boat airs out its nets at Port Isabel. Visible from the roadside, shrimp boats dock between catches as boaters get a little R&R.

A sheet of aluminum is buffed out before inks are painted over a base white coat which makes the work luminous. The inks are fused at about 400º to adhere to the metal surface permanently. The piece is ready to hang.
