As we cruised the streets of Oklahoma City, looking for the cool morning shot of the city being washed by rain, we came to the view I wanted. It was within steps of an improvised homeless shelter. A make-do street flophouse where two-four homeless people where hiding from the rain and cold.
I stayed in my car...safe from the cold and rain, and shot a vertical for my art print...cropping out the shelter. Then to document the irony scene of beauty and poverty, I shot a horizontal incorporating the "flophouse".
I used my iPhone, and later its media to create my vertical. The flophouse image will be on request at my discretion.
