The Art
I prefer art with three dominate colors...in this case, the earth, trees, and the sky. This piece is really showing the awesome world of "earth" that we live on. The subject that the eyes will find are the wind turbines...a bit small in the grandeur of earth.
I want the eyes to be pleased with the simple trim-color world...like a Rothko, in its simple but detailed way. In this piece, you enjoy the simplicity. But, as you sit in a chair in your home...or look off to the images on the wall at your office, there is a ton of detail that is found as you look inward to the art.
At around $700, it is what you might spend on car service yet you can see and enjoy this art for decades to come...
Art Details
This is a 20x30 ink on canvas. It is attached to a hardwood frame with a wire hanger so it is ready to display on the wall. JimRode uses real wood...a hardwood frame for longevity. The canvas is attached to the wood frame, wrapping the edge. Archival ink of course, and premium canvas with a poly/linen blend for longevity. The inks soak the canvas fiber creating a depth of color.
