The Art
Barking dogs chased our car as we crawled along the narrow levee. As the sun rose over the dormant grassy fields, we had several dogs jumping to the car windows. We were startled and sped up on the rutted bern, alone amongst the wind turbines near the gulf waters. I did end with the capture of a great ink fusion this week, even if the darned dogs scared us silly...
PS I posted this to Facebook and they rejected it. Why? Why do I even try?
Art Details
20x30 ink fusion to a sheet of aluminum.
I've used six colors here and they are archival inks that are fused to metal via a mylar print. This plastic-like image is then burnt into the aluminum at approximately 400º so that the inks become infused to the metal. After creating this piece, a box hanger is attached to the rear with an epoxy so that it arrives to your collection ready for wall display.
