The Art
This image is from January of 2020, but reminds us of how difficult it has been on the cruise industry.
Besides bringing wonderful color to otherwise white walls, this ink on canvas delights the eye.
You will notice colorful converging lines. Between the sky and the docks tarmac, you will see that the ships hull of blue also converges to meet at docks end. Add in a rolling barricade of barriers on wheels to keep wandering passengers from the waters edge as another converging line.
Shadows of the buildings Aztec facade fall upon the tarmac.
The Details
This is a 20x30 ink on canvas. It is attached to a hardwood frame with a wire hanger so it is ready to display on the wall. JimRode uses a hardwood frame for longevity. (Real canvas is attached to that!) Archival ink of course, and premium canvas are used by Jim. (Caution: Some commercial artists go cheap and print on art board, folding the board edges to make a thick edge and then glue the folds to form a wrap box. In a few years, that glue gives way.)
