Fallow Field Harlingen, Texas is an art canvas where I'm breaking a lot of rules. Sometimes, you do that to find creativity.
This piece looks brilliant on the wall. The sky is spectacular, and the earth is the grounding of human life. The field lays fallow waiting for spring. Waiting for rain, and the suns warmth before springing to life.
The sun is seems too much in this canvas piece (although, very curiously, the sun appears the same if the inks are fused to metal). The telephone lines seem to frame the image, but I always keep those. It is real. Someday phone lines will disappear and will thus date the image to a time gone by.
