Sierra Madre No. 1 depicts a lake in the foothills below the Sierra Madre. The trees turn from green to blue as the eye fools us with distance and depth in the view. In the far distance, the snowcap mountains return to green because of the contrast of the sky. The sky itself near the mountains contrast delicacy that will remind you of pointillism, before blending into the delicate layers of teal and blue sky.
I really love this one! It is great wall decor!
