Stepping into Harlingen - Noche - An ink fusion from JimRode at Friday Night Art
Stepping Into Harlingen - Noche
Where
Valley International Airport: Harlingen, Texas - outside the Lobby entrance.
The Art
Something about coming home. It is good for the heart. If you grew up in the Rio Grand Valley, nothing beats walking outside the doors of the Valley Airport to see the sight of palm trees, night sky and warm breezes from the Gulf.
Arriving - there before you, a sparse parking lot. Harlingen is a small place. Flying is manageable. It may make you chuckle at how quickly you can walk to your gate. Arrive two hours early...I've seldom seen the need. The checkin counter, security, and walk to the gate is over in minutes. That's good, because so much else in the Valley takes a long time...
This wall art reveals those valley palm trees and the yellow sky of the twilight evening. It will always remind you of coming home.
