Where the Angels Sleep at Night - ink fusion art by JimRode

Mountain ranges from California to Arizona
The Art
There are vast places in Arizona to California where no one has stepped. The only traffic is angels. They arrive with both feet grounded, before pausing to sleep in the rocks. They get tired being guardians to people, watching over souls. If their charge is good, it is a bit easier than if they watch over someone on the wrong path. Because of them, there is a magic and beauty that most of us will never see.
But to recharge each night, they seek a place where human souls don't travel. Even in the days of people seeking gold, these mountain badlands in the desert held no safe harbor. Too much heat, too little water for man to survive. It is refuge for the angels who just need a nights break far away from mankind. You can get lost looking into the bold colors. Just don't speak too loud standing close, you'll awake an angel or two.
