The Art
Through the many acres of grass between the levee near Harlingen, you can see the wind turbines that stir the wind all the way to the Gulf of Mexico.
Shooting into the sun brought the vision of the cross. The air was thick with smell of grass, and the sunlit sky is awesome.
This art piece is a brother to Sunrise Over the Levee and Sunrise Over Snowbirds.
Art Details
This is a 20x30 ink on canvas. It is attached to a hardwood frame with a wire hanger so it is ready to display on the wall. JimRode uses a hardwood frame for longevity. (Real canvas is attached to that!) Archival ink of course, and premium canvas are used by Jim. (Caution: Some commercial artists go cheap and print on art board, folding the board edges to make a thick edge and then glue the folds to form a wrap box. In a few years, that glue gives way.)
