The Art

Wind industry near the Texas Gulf, casting long shadows on God's good earth.

From where the eagles fly, this wind turbine farm is but a useless orchard in the carnivorous world.

A company exec would see it and notice the dollar signs whirling with each spin of the blades.

A farmer would see it and envy the rich earth.

An artist sees it and sweats. "I can do windmills, but can I possible capture God's impossible sky?

How

Archival inks are applied to a mylar before layered onto a buffed sheet of aluminum. The artist's rendition is then burned at 400º to fuse the image to the aluminum. A wall hanger is attached to the rear so that the piece can be displayed in the office or home collection quickly. Jim Rode will sign the work unless you request the signature on the back of the aluminum.
