The Art
This ink on canvas depicts the early morning on the levee looking through the tall grass at the windmills. These wind turbines greet the morning sun near Harlingen Texas. They turn to catch the wind although not all are always obedient. It seems, even windmills need a morning cup of coffee to fall in line.
The colors of the sky and clouds rolling in off the Gulf of Mexico, create a gorgeous set of pastels to contrast with the colors of the grasses.
Art Detail
This is a 20x30 ink on canvas. It is attached to a hardwood frame with a wire hanger so it is ready to display on the wall. (Some commercial artists print on art board, fold to make a thick edge and then glue the form into a wrap box. In a few years, that glue gives way. JimRode uses real wood...a hardwood frame for longevity. The canvas is attached to that!) Archival ink of course, and premium canvas with a poly/linen blend for longevity.
